Established in 1975 our company operates three local vehicle and passenger ferries to the nearby islands of Sugar, Neebish and Drummond and we also operate a rural public bussing system with scheduled runs to and from Sault Ste. Marie to local areas such as Kincheloe, DeTour, Rudyard and a few others. In Luce County EUPTA operates Dial-a-Ride services with an on demand response pick up.

The ferry schedule will continue as posted here: Click here for current Ferry Schedules and new Ferry Schedules Effective Friday, May 22, 2020 Please note, during this crisis getting out of vehicles on the ferry is forbidden. We are requesting passengers keep their windows rolled up until needed interaction with the deckhand. If you have a mask available, please wear the mask while interacting with the deckhand. The use of the passenger cabin is at your own risk and highly discouraged at this time. It is expected that everyone heeds the Governor’s Executive Order and travel will be for essential services, personnel, and needs only. We expect traffic on the ferry to be minimal. Ferry Crew will be available for emergency runs. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. We want you to stay home so you can stay safe.
The EUPTA Kincheloe to Soo and Detour Soo bus schedules will continue normal runs, at this time. The Rudyard run is cancelled until further notice. We are operating as an essential service under the Governor’s Executive Order. It is expected that everyone heeds the Governor’s Executive Order and travel will be for essential services, personnel, and needs only. We expect ridership to be minimal. We expect everyone to practice safe distancing, cover their coughs, wash your hands, sanitize, and sit every other seat on the bus. All passengers medically able to tolerate a covering over their mouth and nose will be asked to do so while on-board the transit vehicle. Face mask coverings may include a homemade mask, scarf, bandanna, or handkerchief.
Please do not sit near our drivers, so we can keep them healthy and driving. We want you to stay home so you can stay safe.
